Karat Platinum LLC (“KPC”), founded by David Neuberg, is the exclusive global manufacturer and distributor of a groundbreaking new platinum alloy called KARAT PLATINUM™.
KARAT PLATINUM ™ otherwise known as 14 KARAT PLATINUM®, provides all the benefits of pure platinum( 950 Platinum) at roughly half the cost.
KARAT PLATINUM™,14 KARAT PLATINUM® and 14kt.Pt ® are all brand names for KPC’s unique blend of 58.5% platinum and 41.5% cobalt and copper. KARAT PLATINUM™ is a class of 585 blended alloys which have a minimum of 58.5% platinum similar to 14K gold which is a blended alloy of 58.5% gold and other non-precious metals.
KPC’s proprietary European refining process enabled pure platinum to be blended for the first time with cobalt and copper to create a new platinum alloy indistinguishable from pure platinum in durability, luster and performance. This technological advancement finally solved a major industry challenge, providing manufacturers with a cost effective product that addressed the needs of a large consumer market.
Along with its partner Allgemeine Gold und Silberscheideanstalt AG, a multi-billion dollar global leader in refining precious metals for the jewelry industry with the most exacting quality standards, KPC is the co-owner of rights arising under a U.S. patent covering this new platinum alloy.
